Curatorial/Research Associate in Ichthyology and Herpetology

The Section of Ecology and Systematics at Cornell University invites applications for a
curatorial/research associate position in ichthyology and herpetology, available beginning October
1997. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of the Ichthyology and
Herpetology Collections and expected to develop an active research program in ichthyology or
herpetology. A Ph.D. in ichthyology, herpetology or related discipline is required. Expertise in
ichthyology, curatorial practices and data management are essential. Knowledge of herps is
highly desirable.
Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae, a statement detailing curatorial experience and
a statement of current and future research interests. Applicants should also arrange to have three
