I would like to post a notice that the Bailey and Allen Tag Co. may be interested in producing pin
feed labels made out of Byron Weston Resistal paper. Paulo Petry has contacted them for
producing such labels for the INPA in Manaus. They are interested but want to know if there is a
market for these and if so, how many collections are interested in purchasing the pin feed lables
and in what sizes. Currently, the MSB Division of Fishes uses the 3" x 5" size, purchased long
ago from University Products. We find these acceptable for our collection. Other styles have
included the continuous roll on pin feed and smaller sizes of the perforated labels. Please email
Lex Snyder at amsnyder@unm.edu if you have an interest in purchasing pin feed labels, perforated
or not and what you would use in a year or 5 years. Include your name, telephone no. and name
of institution. Remember, these are labels for use on the impact printers, not laser printers.
